3. Vision
Buckinghamshire is a place where individuals and communities thrive and make positive choices not to use drugs.
Organisations work together to provide the right support at the right time to prevent and reduce the harms from drugs and alcohol.
The vision for our drugs and alcohol strategy has been developed through a series of stakeholder workshops and will be delivered in partnership, with strategic oversight from our Combating Drugs Partnership.
It is aspirational and aligns with visions set out in other key strategies such as the Health and Wellbeing Board Strategy, the Safer Bucks Plan, Buckinghamshire Council’s Opportunity Bucks, and Thames Valley Police’s Custody 2025 programme.
