'Men In Mind' - Men’s Mental Health
When to seek support
You might consider reaching out for support if you notice:
- persistent low mood, irritability or anger
- feeling overwhelmed, numb or unable to cope
- changes in sleep, appetite or motivation
- withdrawing from people or activities you usually enjoy
- increased use of alcohol or drugs
If these feelings are affecting your day to day life, help is available.
How to get help
There are different ways to access support, depending on what feels right for you:
- talking to your GP about your mental health
- accessing NHS talking therapies
- using online or digital mental health support
- reaching out to community or voluntary sector services
